PAULIUC WAS SELECTED FOR A CONTINUING EDUCATION AUDIT. DURING THE RELEVANT TIME PERIOD, PAULIUC SUBMITTED HANDWRITTEN DOCUMENTATION REPRESENTING THAT SHE RECEIVED 4.0 HOURS FOR AN IN-PERSON COURSE TAKEN THROUGH ACCELERATED CARE PLUS TITLED "CHRONIC HEART FAILURE AND REHAB". THIS COURSE WAS ONLY APPROVED FOR NO MORE THAN 2.0 HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION. THE ATTENDANCE SHEET FOR THE COURSE INDICATES THAT THE COURSE TIME WAS 2.0 HOURS. THUS, THERE WAS A MISREPRESENTATION OF 2.0 HOURS. PAULIUC DID NOT COMPLETE HER CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE REPORTING PERIOD. |

Pauliuc shall make up the two hours of board approved continuing education for the 2017-2018 reporting period and provide to the Board written proof of completion of these hours. These makeup hours are in addition to what is otherwise required in order to maintain licensure as a physical therapist assistant. These hours are to be completed within 60 days of entry of the consent agreement. Pauliuc shall also enroll and successfully complete six hours of board approved course(s) in ethics and provide written proof to the Board. These shall be completed within 60 days of the consent agreement and order. Pauliuc shall be subject to a mandatory audit of her continuing education prior to the next renewal of her license. Pauliuc shall pay a continuing education non-compliance fee in the amount of $200 within 60 days of entry of the consent agreement and order. |
